Arkansas and Texas Adopt the Uniform Bar Exam

Arkansas and Texas have now adopted the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). Arkansas will administer the UBE starting in February 2020 and Texas will administer the UBE starting in February 2021.

The UBE is coordinated by National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) and is composed of the Multistate Essay Examination, two Multistate Performance Test tasks, and the Multistate Bar Examination. It is uniformly administered, graded, and scored and results in a portable score that can be transferred to other UBE jurisdictions.
